1901 S. MINT ST

1901 S. Mint St was a historic remodel project nestled in the charming Wilmore neighborhood just outside of Uptown Charlotte. Built in 1946, this house is a testament to the rich history and character of the area. Our goal with this project was to seamlessly blend the timeless appeal of the home's exterior with modern functionality and aesthetics on the interior, bringing it into the 21st century while preserving its historic charm.

The Wilmore neighborhood boasts a rich architectural heritage, with many homes reflecting the style and craftsmanship of decades past. Our approach to this remodel project was rooted in a deep appreciation for the house's history and architectural significance. We carefully preserved and restored key exterior features, such as the original facade, windows, and architectural details, ensuring that the home retains its authentic character and curb appeal.

Inside, however, the transformation tells a different story. Drawing inspiration from contemporary design principles and the needs of modern living, we reimagined the interior spaces to maximize functionality, comfort, and style. The layout was reconfigured to create an open and inviting atmosphere, with thoughtfully designed living areas that flow seamlessly from one to the next.

In preserving the historic integrity of this home while updating it for modern living, we've created a truly timeless space that honors the past while embracing the present. This project serves as a testament to our commitment to quality craftsmanship, thoughtful design, and the enduring beauty of historic homes.
